Disappointing
"My wife and I went to see Evynne Hollens as part of our anniversary. She was obviously at ease, well rehearsed, and had an incredible band. We really enjoy her music. It was great to see her in person.
However, she and I were both disappointed in the evening. I agree. She would have preferred a song selection that contained more of her all-time favorites.
I was VERY disappointed with the sound mix. Too be fair, some may have been due to how Evynne was holding the mics early on. They continued to be overpowering to the point much of the synthesized keyboard parts were also covered. I never did hear the lead guitar all evening. With that said, for my ears, the subs were overpowering Evynne at the beginning.
We are glad we went, but I doubt I would go to hear her again."
